About Shemy Ayon

Shemy graduated with a Masters in Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. She is a NCCAOM certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and has been a Colorado board certified Licensed Acupuncturist since 2015.

As an acupuncturist and trained herbalist, she has worked successfully with patients experiencing women’s health issues, orthopedic and sports injuries, chronic and acute pain, insomnia, stress, depression, trauma, gastrointestinal issues, autoimmune conditions, and allergies.

In order to help her patients achieve their health goals and bring their body, mind, and spirit into balance she draws upon different modalities.  These include Chinese massage, aromatherapy, sound healing, guasha, moxibustion, cupping, breathing and qigong exercises, and dietary and lifestyle therapies.  Shemy believes in a whole body approach which not only addresses the symptoms but also finds the root of the condition.

When she isn’t treating patients Shemy enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, traveling, reading, yoga, and spending time with her two children and husband.
